Where stress is reduced, creativity abounds, cognitive function
increases, focus and concentration are enhanced, and negative habits & patterns can be released as realignment of the mind and body takes place.
All by doing absolutely N O T H I N G.
What is The Mindful Reset?
The Mindful Reset offers bespoke, tailored Non-Sleep-Deep-Rest (NSDR) and Yoga Nidra practices for Wellbeing programmes and group/one to one online sessions worldwide.

The awareness of 'NSDR', a term coined by the neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, is rapidly growing in the media at the moment, especially in the world of health-hacks.
This new-found discovery actually comes from the Yogic tradition of Yoga Nidra - as Huberman himself explains (see below). But there's no bendy backs or flexibility needed here: Yoga Nidra is the art of efffortlessness, of doing nothing. It's in the un-doing that we find everything!

Perfect for hybrid working, The Mindful Reset offers the opportunity to reset, recharge and renew to bring a mind full of new possibilities and potential.

“Yoga Nidra is one of several what we call NSDR - Non Sleep Deep Rest - protocols. Admittedly I coined the term ‘NSDR’ because scientists like acronyms…. I did it deliberately, not to rob the beautiful history and community that is Yoga Nidra and the Yogic communities of anything but rather, because many people are adverse to doing anything that has a name like ‘Yoga Nidra’ and yet it’s such a powerful tool, it’s a zero cost tool that has enormous effects on not just accessing sleep and calm but enhancing rates of neuroplasticity…. NSDR is my attempt to create a more friendly language…”

- Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., neuroscientist and tenured professor in the department of neurobiology, and by courtesy, psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford School of Medicine.
What are the benefits?
Stress Reduction
A deeply relaxing practice that helps alleviate stress and tension. It activates the relaxation response, leading to a decrease in the production of stress hormones like cortisol. Participants experience reduced stress levels, improved mental well-being, and enhanced resilience to workplace pressures.
Improved Sleep Quality
Promoting deep relaxation can help address sleep-related issues such as insomnia or poor sleep quality. Participants benefit from improved sleep patterns, which then enhances their overall energy, mood, and cognitive function during the workday.
Increased Self-awareness and Mindfulness
Participants develop a greater sense of self-awareness, self-compassion and self-acceptance. Thi can positively impact their relationships, communication, and decision-making skills at work.
Enhanced Focus and Concentration
Regular practice can improve concentration and focus. It cultivates a state of relaxed alertness, helping participants develop a clear and calm mind. As a result, they experience increased productivity and efficiency in their work, leading to better performance.
Emotional Well-being
The practice facilitates emotional healing and balance. It allows individuals to release emotional tension, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of well-being, helping to manage emotions effectively, improving emotional resilience, and creating a more positive work environment.
Physical Relaxation and Pain Relief
The practice promotes physical relaxation by systematically releasing tension from different parts of the body helping participants to reduce physical discomfort, alleviate chronic pain and improve overall physical well-being.
Team Building and Camaraderie
Participating in sessions together can foster a sense of camaraderie and unity among teams. It provides an opportunity to engage in a shared experience, encouraging connection and a supportive work culture.

proactive rest can contribute to a 26 per cent performance improvement."

"One of the most effective ways I can really relax and switch off. And though it's known as 'Yoga Nidra', there’s no actual yoga involved - at least no bendy movement! You don’t need to know anything about meditation either. It all just happens for you. Brilliant! "

"There is however, a class of fancies of exquisite delicacy, which are not thoughts,
and to which as yet I have found it absolutely impossible to adapt language.

They arise in the soul only at its epochs of most intense tranquility.
When the bodily and mental health are in perfection, and at that mere point of time where the confines of the waking world blends with those of the world of dreams.

I am aware of these fancies only when I am upon the very brink of sleep with the consciousness that I am so."
